Modifiers and Powerups

Before each game the table opens a Modifiers screen with three columns: Gameplay, Modifiers and Powerups. Your first game is "defaults only". After that, more options unlock.

Modifiers

ModifierWhat the name suggests
Quick ScrambleA faster or shorter scramble before the race
Sudden DeathOne mistake can end the game
Slower ScrambleA slower scramble animation, so you get more time to read it
SpeedrunA pure race against the clock

The developer hasn't published how each one works, so the descriptions above are to be verified. The names come from the in-game menu.

Powerups

PowerupSeen in game
FreezeA round button with a cooldown timer (for example 11, 13 or 19 seconds) that shows "Ready" when it can be used. It likely freezes your opponent briefly (to be verified).
ScrambleListed in the Powerups column. It probably scrambles the rival's cube (to be verified).
BlindListed in the Powerups column. It probably hides the rival's key bar (to be verified).

How to use them well

  • Use Freeze when your rival is close to finishing, not at the start.
  • Avoid Sudden Death until your accuracy is high.
  • Slower Scramble is friendly for beginners and good for learning.
